Andrew J Sebastian talks about Taman Negara’s amazing birdwatching potential

Like many other birdwatchers from around the world who visited Taman Negara (Kuala Tahan especially), it dawns on them that it is a little piece of birding heaven. Let’s promote it more and lets also promote best practices when we watch birds too..  Tq John Steed for my favourite photo of the Great Argus !

The title of this news article is a bit misleading though 🙂 but it goes to the core of all good ecotourism sites.. 1: is it appealing enough 2: what are the core activities we want to promote 3: what is the carrying capacity and 4: can we provide quality service. If we understand and get it right, this place and products will be sustainable.

Taman Negara has many things going for it and perhaps now is as good a time as any to take stock and promote it as a true eco destination.
